Disclosure of Smallworks Terms of Business


Shipping Policy

Smallworks uses USPS for shipping; shipping costs reflect USPS postal rates and shipping labor.  Items will be sent within seven to ten business days from date of purchase, given the method of purchase is made without any unforeseen problems.  If your purchase has not arrived within three weeks of purchase, contact Melinda at 503-203-6787 or melinda@smallwork.com.  If you are purchasing items in addition to a Faery Chair and/or Mandolin, shipping for the additional items must be added to the cost of the Chair or Mandolin (prices on Chairs and Mandolins include shipping).


Use of Personal Information

Your personal information is used only by Smallworks for the purposes of doing business with Smallworks; your information is neither shared with any other party nor stored beyond the time required to process the transaction.  Smallworks processes orders within three to five days of purchase.  Customer email addresses are required in the on-line shopping cart for the purpose of sending a receipt of purchase to the customer; telephone numbers are required for contacting the customer should any unforeseen problems arise in the process of charging the customer for their purchase. If you don't have an email address, enter any text in the email address field in order to complete your purchase.


Explanation of On-Line Shopping Cart and Credit Card Transactions

Smallwork.com uses Mal’s e-Commerce to provide a shopping cart by which customers can use their credit card to make purchases on-line. When using the on-line shopping cart, you will notice the URL (Uniform Resource Locator)—the web address at the top of the web browser—changes to “http://ww10.aitsafe.com/cf/add.cfm?userid=C7290478”; as you select shipping and submit personal information, the characters that follow this URL will change, but the main address should not.

Smallworks endorses that this is the URL for Mal’s e-Commerce and is the proper web address for the Smallwork.com on-line shopping cart.  Smallworks insures that all sensitive personal information, including name, address, and credit card data, will be transmitted safely and securely by a SSL (secure socket layer) secured server; this is in effect when a "lock" image appears in the web browser and "https://" precedes the URL.
